Fields of application:
Cr20N80 is a high grade austenitic alloy. Due to its malleability and strength at high temperatures. Cr20Ni80 is especially suited for applications in the electrical appliance industry. In industrial furnace use Cr20Ni80 has many advantages due to its excellent mechanical properties in the hot state.
Cr20Ni80 has superior life compared to competitive NiCr alloys because of the extremely good adhesion properties of the surface oxide. Typical applications for Cr20Ni80 are flat irons. Ironing machines, water heaters, plastic mould dies, soidering irons, metal sheathed tubular elements, cartridge elements, etc. Technical information
Cokl drawn wire is produced from the alloy grade Cr20Ni80 in soft heat- treated position diameter 0.1- 7.5 mm according to the standard GET/1234-95. Chemical composition of Cr20Ni80 alloy should be according to GBT/1234-95.
